Louise Dautheribes McKerl shares her bold and quirky comic Sidekicks.
Louise Dautheribes McKerl is a half French, half Scottish visual artist.
Born and raised in France, with her cynical opinions, bad humour and vulgarity were often frowned upon by puzzled Parisians, she then moved to Scotland, where her humour was equally misunderstood.
Her empty purse and badly shaped head prevented her a path to superior academic studies, but allowed her to sculpt her own style and refine her self-taught dyslexic skills.
She has written and directed multiple award-winning short films, and can sometimes be spotted prowling the cobble-stone streets in a long trench coat, squeaky boots, taking photographs.
In between sips of wine and bits of cheese, she writes small wee tiny short stories, has scribbled for a +45 online dating side during which sh discovered a lot and never been the same since.
At the end of 2015 she escape the European time zone for six months, to venture the American continent from the most southern tip of Argentina, to Kingston, Jamaica. She came back with great recipes and an unbelievable sun tan…
Louise enjoys a bowl of Rice Krispies anytime of day and nights, or the warmth of a shower when everybody is sleeping.
