Segments, two wrinkled organs.
I apologise but of course she can’t hear me.
My nails into her skin until I feel her juices
Beneath my fingertips,
She relents, consents,
Not because she wants to, of course
But because she feels she has to.
I bribe my way deeper.
Carefully picking away the parts I don’t like
Until the residue becomes
Peeling parts of her away until she’s aware of her fragments
That is the most satisfying thing.
You can imagine,
Without all those layers
She is tangy and sweet
She is part of me now and yet she ceases.
